What devices do

Electricity is very useful to us for a number of reasons

1. It is very easy to get from on place to another where it is needed.

2. It is a very concentrated form of energy (this is why it is so dangerous)

3. Electrical energy is easily transferred into lots of other types of energy that we can use in our homes

For each of the diagrams below you should be able to identify what kind of energy electricity is usefully transferred into by each device.

Note - Not all of the electrical energy is transferred usefully, some is always wasted (e.g. the drill produces a lot of sound energy).
