Here is a graph produced with Excel. What's wrong with it?
| Would you be able to check any of the readings? Without major and minor
gridlines on both axes this would be impossible. One of the points is clearly anomalous. Did Excel take this into account when it produced the trend line? It is possible to produce graphs with Excel which are as good as those done by hand but it takes thought and skill. Many a student has lost marks by handing in graphs like this one here. You should add error bars if appropriate. This is a lot harder to do with Excel. |
